Julia Eccleshare's comment:
A classic story stylishly updated and perfect for first time readers. Sally Gardner retells this favourite tale of how a real princess can only be found by testing how delicate and sensitive she really is. Lively illustrations create a suitably snobbish royal world with a modern look to it.
