The Lovereading4Kids comment
Simply told and illustrated, this is a touching story about a poor little wizard who can’t learn to fly. Alone in the forest practicing his flying, the little wizard meets a dragon who promises to teach him how to do it. They practice together but still the little wizard can’t get his broomstick off the ground. The dragon explains that you need a reason to be able to fly but the little wizard just can’t think of one. But the dragon proves to be right and, when a reason does arise, the little wizard is up and away – and saves the dragon’s skin by doing so.
