Reviews

'This really is an ideal story to read aloud while you cuddle up with your little one at bedtime.. I enjoyed the gentle humour in the illustrations too.. A good book to have to hand for those little ‘upset’ moments.' Parents in Touch

Praise for the Aliens Love Underpants series:

"The catchy bouncy rhymes perfectly complement the colourful wacky pictures of Martians in outsized Y-fronts." Georgia Coleridge, Daily Mail

'..with lots of smelly socks, mouldy cheese, bellybutton fluff and a good fight to get them giggling, this is a guaranteed favourite.' Sally Morris, Daily Mail

"You'll laugh your pants off!" Parent's News

"This book is a feast of colour and humour" Red House Children's Book Award 2008

"This fantastic rhyming story - with hilarious pictures of aliens and, well, underpants - is simply pantastic!" Galaxy British Book Awards 2008

"My three-year-old son Ezra ... says that he finds its attempt at post-ironic subversion of the sci-fi genre tiresome yet addictive. The things they say!"David Baddiel, The Times

"Aliens Love Underpants is a jolly romp in rhyme and pictures" School Librarian

About the Author

Claire Freedman

Claire Freedman lives on the Essex coast. She has worked for the BBC, Harrods and for a reprographic company and now writes full-time. She is the author of a number of books for children, including A Kiss Goodnight, Snuggle Up, Sleepy Ones and On This Special Night with Little Tiger Press. When not writing, Claire spends her time sailing, walking in the countryside and, when she can, travelling abroad.

Claire discovered her love of writing for children after joining a local writing group – which she still enjoys attending regularly. She began by writing stories and picture strips for comics including Twinkle, Pingu and Sesame Street, before trying her hand at picture books.
