The Lovereading4Kids comment

Bedtime with one baby may seem bad. Try it with 12 bunnies! 12 of everything means there is masses to count as the bunnies, eat, wash, play and get to bed. Readers will love helping Sophie to find the one things that she needs for bunny bedtime.

Win a copy of HATS OF FAITH

There should be more books like this: in bright, appealing illustrations it tells children how people of different faiths cover their heads to show their love for God. This beautifully illustrated, board book aims to teach children, parents and educators about the shared custom of head covering across the Jewish, Sikh, Christian, Rastafarian, and Islamic faiths. Hats of Faith helps prepare young children for our culturally diverse, modern world and encourages tolerance and understanding.

Synopsis

The House of 12 Bunnies by Caroline Stills, Sarcia Stills-Blott

When twelve messy bunnies live under the same roof, the walls nearly burst with fun things to find and count. There are twelve chairs, twelve beds, twelve towels, and twelve of just about everything else. In the middle of all the muddle, Sophia searches for the one thing that will get the bunnies to bed on time.

About the Author

Caroline Stills, Sarcia Stills-Blott

Caroline Stills began writing for children almost accidentally. It wasn’t until she became a mother that she began formulating ideas for picture books.

Her first picture book to be published in Australia was Magic Mummy, a finalist in the Inaugural Kathleen Julia Bates Writing Competition for a picture book , followed by an A-Z of Fairies and an A-Z of Pirates.

Her eldest daughter, Sarcia (pictured), has always been very creative – and loves to draw, write stories and dance. She often gets onto the computer and types away at a story idea. It was Sarcia who wrote the first draft of what was to become The House of 12 Bunnies when she was eight.

Sarcia Stills-Blott

When she's not writing stories, Sarcia loves drawing, dancing, acting and hanging out with her family and friends. Her favourite colour is aqua and her favourite food is chocolate-chip cookies. When she grows up she wants to be a full-time animator and a part-time writer/artist, who dances in her spare time.
