About The Author
Caroline Stills began writing for children almost accidentally. It wasn’t until she became a mother that she began formulating ideas for picture books.
Her first picture book to be published in Australia was Magic Mummy, a finalist in the Inaugural Kathleen Julia Bates Writing Competition for a picture book , followed by an A-Z of Fairies and an A-Z of Pirates.
Her eldest daughter, Sarcia (pictured), has always been very creative – and loves to draw, write stories and dance. She often gets onto the computer and types away at a story idea. It was Sarcia who wrote the first draft of what was to become The House of 12 Bunnies when she was eight.
