The Lovereading4Kids comment

This is an adventure you'll never forget. Meet Geronimo, a newspaper owner whose favourite pastime is writing tales of adventure. Geronimo heads for Egypt to meet mummies, read hieroglypyhics and learn the secrets of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient Mouse World. You'll also meet his family, Thea, Trap and Benjamin Stilton, in some great fun stories - tastier than Swiss cheese and tangier than extra-sharp cheddar. They are whisker-licking-good stories, and that's a promise.

Geronimo Stilton: The Curse of the Cheese Pyramid by Geronimo Stilton

It was a dream come true - I was off to Egypt to interview a famous archaeologist! I climbed onboard a crabby old camel that would take me across the desert to the Cheese Pyramid. There, among mummies and hieroglyphs, I would learn the secret of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient Mouse World...

Reviews

Parents' praise for Geronimo Stilton:

"Geronimo Stilton rocks! As my 8-year-old son would put it. The Geronimo Stilton series is the FIRST book series that my son is willingly reading. The use of different fonts, colours and most of all humour in the book is what has kept him captivated."

"What a great book. I was looking for a book to introduce my daughter to chapter books. I have looked at a lot of them. This was so visually engaging that I just had to buy it. COLOUR pictures! Fun TEXT! Very well done. The story is humorous and keeps kids reading."
