“This wonderfully illustrated book teaches young kids to really look; searching for Sassoon on each page. There is so much going on each page, children will want to go back to this book time and time again. Marvelous!” – Angels and Urchins, Autumn 2011

About Sam Usher
Sam Usher spent most of his childhood reading, drawing and forgetting to do his schoolwork. He graduated from the University of West England and his debut picture book, Can You See Sassoon?, was shortlisted for the Waterstones Children's Book Prize and the Children’s Book Award. He is particularly admired for his technical drawing skill and prowess with watercolour. He has since written and illustrated lots of other books working with many different people including Michael Morpurgo. He lives in London, where he enjoys trespassing and, is also a talented pianist, when he’s not holding a pen and wobbling at paper you’ll find him perfecting a fiendishly difficult piece of Chopin.
