Synopsis

When Jono's friend Crusher offers him a rather hungry alligator out of the boot of his car he thinks someone would have to be crazy to buy it. But somehow Jono finds himself as the proud new owner! Now the only question is, how is he going to hide it from his mother? A laugh-out-loud comedy! Particularly suitable for reluctant, struggling and dyslexic readers of 10+, reading age 7.
About The Author
Theresa Breslin started writing while working as a mobile librarian. Her work has been translated worldwide, is used extensively in schools and has been dramatised for television and radio. Theresa has won a variety of prestigious awards including the Carnegie Medal, Scottish Book Trust Best Book of the Decade Award and the Kathleen Fidler Award. Her titles for Barrington Stoke include the play version of Alligator, Prisoner in Alcatraz, Starship Rescue and Mutant. She lives in Glasgow.
