The Lovereading4Kids comment

Grit your teeth and hold onto your stomach! There are some revolting recipes in this fascinating and surprising cook book. My favourite trick is cooking an egg on a piece of paper, over the flame of a Bunsen burner, but I’d steer clear of stinging nettle soup! Science and cookery are mixed and muddled in creative ways that will introduce some of the principles of cookery as well as some delicious – if surprising recipes.
