This is a delightful picture book for everyone - to be shared with children and will be enjoyed equally by the adults who share it with them. Full of humour it features a cast of monkeys whose mishaps and mischievous adventures provide a terrific story, but it also has an underlying goodwill theme to it.
It was written originally for a friend of the author who was ill in hospital in an attempt to cheer her up.
100% of the profits from the sale of the book will be shared by two charities - Ty Hafan, the childrens' and young person's hospice in Wales and Winston's Wish, the charity for bereaved children.

Two families of good-natured but rather accident prone monkeys try and generally fail to deliver bananas in ever more madcap ways, to their human friend in hospital who loathes the hospital food! The hospital won't let them bring in the bananas so they dig a tunnel but fail, use a rocket to transport them but fail, use a parachute but fail. In fact, they try for a whole month and eventually dressed up in postal uniform with parcels to deliver full of bananas they get through security and deliver their bananas to all the unwell people in the hospital. Perfect bedtime reading as it will have parent and child in giggles.
Dawn Carroll met Monty, the first monkey to share her home, during a visit to Bath in 2003. Shortly after this, twenty more members of The Banana Bunch arrived. It is a very crowded house! Linden Hare was, according to her family, born with a pencil and sketchbook in her hands. The Banana Bunch monkeys have been regular visitors to her studio since 2010.
