The Lovereading4Kids comment
Cautionary tale of the perils of eating too much - written in amusing verse and complemented by bright and bold illustrations. A fun tale to share with your toddler along with the author and illustrator's other picture book Tabitha Posy was ever so Nosy another rhyming cautionary tale that's not to be missed.
Mrs MacCready Was Ever So Greedy by Julie Fulton
Mrs MacCready likes to eat just about everything from curry to slices of spam. The more she eats the bigger she gets. Soon there are no clothes that will fit her, so a newspaper publishes an article about her plight. Parcels of oversized clothing comes piling in. When not even a wedding marquee (decorated for free!) fits her, Mrs MacCready goes off with a bang!
