About the Author

Kvita Pacovska

Kvita Pacovska was born in Prague in 1928. In 1992, she won the Hans Christian Andersen Award, the highest and most prestigious international distinction in literature for young people, for her lifetime achievement in art.

She is the author of The Sun is Yellow, also from Tate Publishing.
