The Lovereading4Kids comment

A wonderful introduction to the world of animals complete with an animated DVD which brings the pictures to life with added sound effects. From a whole spread on ‘What is an Animal?’ the pages cover the colours and patterns of animals, how animals move, what animals eat, features of animal babies and much, much more. The pictures are charming and the information is simply described in additional captions making this a wonderful introduction to the subject.

A Piece of Passion from David Bennett, Publisher, Boxer Books
These big, bold, fun books by Harriet Blackford are a mine of information illustrated by Britta Teckentrup - a truly gifted, professional illustrator and designer. I am a fortunate to have great working relationships with authors and artists and to have been the publisher of Britta's first major books for children, Big Smelly Bear, Grumpy Cat and Clumsy Duck.
