Including one terrifying coffin, one of the spookiest graveyard scenes in fiction and a thrilling chase across a crumbling cliffside, this is an exhilarating and chilling story capturing all the excitement and terror of smuggling. Fifteen year old John Trenchard tells the dramatic story of how he falls in with the local smugglers on theDorsetcoast after he comes across an old coffin linked to the legendary pirate Blackbeard. His story involves hidden diamonds, old documents in unfathomable codes, shipwreck and every kind of terror before all is resolved. It’s a fabulous adventure which easily stands the test of time.
