The Lovereading4Kids comment

Presented as a graphic-novel style with comic and lively illustrations and brief caption-style text, particularly appealing to early readers who want a bit of action in their story.

Frank'n'stan by M. P. Robertson

The result is - Stan, a friendly and helpful robot who soon fits into Frank's family life. At first Frank and Stan do everything together, but when Frank's parents present him with a little sister, Stan begins to feel unwanted, and makes plans to leave...

With realistic, detailed illustrations and nicely measured storyline, this is a beautifully crafted, big book to delight children of any age. Irish Examiner

The clue is in the title. The artwork is stunning. It's a cross between Iron Giant and a new baby primer. Families

This is a book to be put on display where possible, so that it might be found and enjoyed by either the scientifically inventive child or the reluctant reader - it may well appeal to both. School Librarian

A quirky refreshing rendering of a familiar topic make this a good book to read with siblings with a new baby in the house. Junior

'Inventive, humorous, realistic and colourful. Carousel
