Synopsis

Clara Button and the Wedding Day Surprise by Amy de la Haye

Clara Button returns - alongside her brother Ollie - in another charming and beautifully illustrated story. After the postman delivers their invitation to a wedding, Clara and Ollie begin careful preparations. Clara imagines what the bride might wear, and might have worn in the past, but disaster strikes the night before the big event! Can Ollie and his inventions - and a visit to the haberdashery - save the day? Amy de la Haye is the Rootstein Hopkins Professor of Dress History and Curatorship at the London College of Fashion and was formerly Curator of 20th Century Fashion at the Victoria & Albert Museum.
