Catherine MacPhail is a highly-acclaimed writer of gritty, urban stories which tackle contemporary issues. Many of her books are based on real-life experiences. She has written a number of titles for Barrington Stoke, including Under the Skin and Hide and Seek. Her bestselling book Another Me (Bloomsbury) has been adapted into a film starring Jonathon Rhys Meyers. She has three children and lives in Greenock.
