Synopsis

Collins Big Cat Have You Ever?: Band 02a/Red a by Tasha Pym

A fun story that follows a boy through a fantastical land of weird and wonderful creatures. Imaginative illustrations complement the text, which invites children to envisage using each of their five senses, by asking f they have ever seen, heard, touched, smelt or tasted any of these creatures. * Red A/Band 2A books offer predictable text with familiar objects and actions, combined with simple story development. * Text type - A story with a predictable structure and patterned language. * A story map on pages 14 and 15 lets the children recap and discuss the story. * This book has been levelled for Reading Recovery.

About the Author

I'm 38 and live in South West London with my husband, James, 8 year old daughter, Mackey, and two cats Barnaby and Basil. As well as writing children's stories, I edit other people's and teach piano and flute to all sorts of individuals. Quite a long time ago I was in the British Sailing Team and windsurfed all over the world. When I was too tired to carry on, I worked editing feature films for 8 years until Mackey was born, when I realised that what I really wanted to do was write stories!
