The Teacher Resource Pack has been developed to support teachers by providing comprehensive coverage of the 2010 specification, through specification summaries, activity worksheets and further resources and information The learning materials in this pack cover the requirements of the GCSE Home Economics for AQA award. The pack covers all units of the specification, providing 'at a glance' information about each unit as well as varied activities that can be used to promote, consolidate and reinforce learning. The photocopiable worksheet material can be used with classroom activities or as a basis for independent study. The varied activity material is vocationally focussed and differentiated into 'Stepping Stone' (easier level) and Challenge (harder) activities. About the Author

Mark Walsh is a writer, teacher and mental health nurse. He works with both further and higher education students, teaching health and social care and social science courses. Mark has written a wide range of bestselling textbooks and teacher resources, and has worked as an educational teaching consultant, and as a senior examiner. Janet Stearns is a qualified nurse, midwife, health visitor, teacher and play therapist. She has over 20 years experience of teaching childcare in schools and colleges and is an experienced examiner and external moderator for childcare qualifications. She is currently working as an independent trainer and consultant for childcare qualifications.
