This book presents Serge Prokofieff's famous musical story about young Peter and the Wolf in the style of a play with four scenes. The cast of characters on page 2 shows how Prokofieff used a different musical instrument to represent each character. About the Author

Diane was born and educated in Lancashire. Her interest in children's books began when she used them to teach English in language schools in Italy. She returned to live in Cambridge, where she taught multi-cultural education before working as a radio and TV presenter. Diane has also been involved in script writing for TV and the stage. She was asked to write The Journey of Odysseus for a Children's Theatre, which gave her the inspiration to delve deeper into the world of the Ancient Greeks. Adrian Bradbury was born in Manchester and worked as a PE teacher before moving overseas to teach English in Europe, the Middle East and Far East. After returning to England he worked as Deputy Head in three schools and now divides his time between teaching and writing. As well as writing educational materials for HarperCollins and other publishers, he also writes humorous football books for children. His hobbies include playing the piano and all sports.
