Synopsis

Elephant's Pyjamas by Michelle Robinson

Sleepovers have never been so silly! A hilarious animal story from award winning children's author, Michelle Robinson and debut picture book illustrator, Emily Fox. Elephant has been invited to a pyjama party. He can't wait! There's just one problem...he doesn't have any pyjamas. Poor Elephant searches high and low, often with embarrassing results, but he can't find anything suitable. What can Elephant's friends do to make sure he joins in the fun?

Reviews

Emily Fox's expressive illustrations show Elephant in deep despair on one page and bopping away as the picture of happiness on the next. Told in simple rhyming verse, this is good stuff. The Independent

About the Author

Michelle Robinson

Michelle Robinson grew up in Gloucestershire and loved making up stories and being silly. She put that to good use by getting a job as a copywriter. She wrote over 6000 radio adverts before moving on to television and the web. She soon got bored though, which is when she started writing funny stories for children and their parents to enjoy reading umpteen times. Her picture book There's a Lion in My Cornflakes won the Sainsbury's Children's Book Awards. She lives in Frome with her husband, son and daughter.
