About the Author

Jane O'Connor

Jane O’ Conner was born and bred on the Upper West Side of Manhattan where she still lives with her family and canine companion Arrow. She studied at Smith College and has a BA in English Literature. Her first book, Fancy Nancy, has remained on the New York Times picture book list for ninety-eight weeks, and it was given the Quill Award for Best Picture Book in 2007.

Her hobbies involve spending every extra nickel on travel. Besides roping her husband into trips, Jane also takes one big vacation a year with her sister who is absolutely the ideal traveling companion.
