Sally's Secret by Shirley Hughes

One of a series of small-format editions of children's picture books. Sally loves making houses in all sorts of places, and one day she discovers a special place for a secret house, which she just has to share with her friend.

Reviews

Ideal for popping into stockings, these are miniature versions of some excellent picture books. Ruff is the story of a little dog rescued by Little Bear and friends. In Sally's Secret Sally finds a special place. The Runaway Train is about what happens when Duffy Driver forgets to put the brake on. The pictures in The Black and White Cat capture the joy felt in the beautiful countryside. The wind blows a little too hard when Mrs Mopple asks it to blow her washing dry. Owl mishears Rabbit when he whispers that he's having a party in The Surprise Party. (3-6 yrs) (Kirkus UK)
