Synopsis

Toad by Ruth Brown

Toad is a slimy, ugly creature, but he's happy to go about catching flies, crunching bugs and generally oozing in and out of marshy, smelly bogs. He is short-sighted, however, and one day when searching for yet more food he stumbles into the jaws of a passing monster.
