About the Author

Darcey Bussell
Destined to be a performer, as a young girl Darcey Bussell attended the Arts Educational School at the Barbican, had a flair for dance and so auditioned for the Royal Ballet School at White Lodge. She is now a household name and accepted as the nation's favourite ballerina. She has appeared on television on many occasions, and in ballet performances such as Prince of The Pagodas, Winter Dreams, La Bayadere, Tchaikovsky Pas De Deux and the Queen Mother's 90th Birthday Tribute Gala.
