Glory Gardens 2 - Bound for Glory by Bob Cattell

Glory Gardens C.C. are now in the North County Under Thirteen League, and the pressure is really on. Hooker, as captain, worries that the team won't be able to hold it together: arrogant Clive is always picking fights, Ohbert is still as useless as ever, and there are all the usual rows and injuries. But there's also Mack, the new player; the lucky mascot 'Gatting'; plus the whole team's unwavering determination to win against all the odds.

About the Author

Bob Cattell grew up in the fens of East Anglia and now lives near Southwold in Suffolk. In between he worked in London in advertising, bookselling, public relations, copywriting and teaching. His first published children's book was Glory in the Cup (in the Glory Gardens cricket series), written while he was running a bookshop on a boat in Greenwich. He likes walking in mountains, theatre, opera and most sports and supports Yorkshire CCC and Aston Villa.
