What to Do If an Elephant Stands on Your Foot by Michelle Robinson

What to Do If an Elephant Stands on Your Foot by Michelle Robinson

What would you do if an elephant stood on Your foot? Would you wiggle, jiggle, giggle or shout? Well, whatever you do, don't panic! Because you never know who or what else you might disturb in the jungle...Uh-oh, look out! Now you've woken the rhino - quick, turn the page! Join our safari guide in this funny animal story that will send readers - and our hapless hero - right back to the beginning for more.

Like an edgier version of If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, this faux guide to the jungle offers advice for Indiana Jones wannabes....Reynolds's digital illustrations are even more rambunctious and action-driven than his work in 2011's Huck Runs Amuck! and he's especially clever at playing the reactions of the hapless hero for laughs -- and there are plenty of them. --Publishers Weekly (starred review)

About the Author

Michelle Robinson

Michelle Robinson grew up in Gloucestershire and loved making up stories and being silly. She put that to good use by getting a job as a copywriter. She wrote over 6000 radio adverts before moving on to television and the web. She soon got bored though, which is when she started writing funny stories for children and their parents to enjoy reading umpteen times. Her picture book There's a Lion in My Cornflakes won the Sainsbury's Children's Book Awards. She lives in Frome with her husband, son and daughter.
