About the Author

Gwen Millward studied illustration in Edinburgh and now spends all her time painting and writing stories for children about her favourite subject - beasts. Timothy Knapman is both writer and playwright and was cast adrift on a boat made of books when he was small, but finally made his way to Surrey where he now lives.
