Synopsis

Project X Alien Adventures: Dark Blue Book Band, Oxford Level 16: Reign of the Practari by Andy Briggs

Project X Alien Adventures takes you on an incredible reading journey with this fantastic story featuring the popular Project X characters Max, Cat, Ant and Tiger. Max, Cat, Ant and Tiger arrive in a dimension where human evolution is going backwards! The Practari are flesh-eating, lizards-like creatures that now control everything! When Tiger is captured by the Practari, his friends have to go on a desperate rescue mission. But will they get him back before their time in this dimension is up? Carefully levelled and highly motivating, this book is ideal for independent reading. This book also contains notes on the inside front and back covers with advice on supporting older children with their reading, questions for readers, and a follow-up activity.

About the Author

Andy Briggs

Andy Briggs was born in Liverpool, England. Having endured many careers, ranging from pizza delivery and running his own multimedia company to teaching both IT and film-making (though not at the same time), he eventually remembered the contant encouragement he had received at an early age about his writing. That led him to launch himself on a poor unsuspecting Hollywood. In between having fun writing movie scripts, Andy now has far too much fun writing novels.

He lives in a secret lair somewhere in the south east of England-attempting to work despite his two crazy cats. His claims about possessing superpowers may be somewhat over-exaggerated…
