Level 2 Songbirds Phonics books focus on matching one sound to one letter or more than one letter, for example th as in that. These invaluable teaching notes feature flexible activities to suit your classroom needs. They contain guidance on group reading for all six of the Level 2 Songbirds Phonics titles: The Odd Pet, Miss! Miss!, This and That, Fish and Chips, Singing Dad, Doctor Duck. They also include helpful tables of the focus phonics in each story, as well as extension activities that have been designed to improve children's language comprehension and word recognition.

About the Author

Julia Donaldson
