Synopsis

Oxford Primary Atlas Activity Book by Patrick Wiegand

The Oxford Primary Atlas Activity Book builds upon themes introduced in the Oxford Primary Atlas to develop and reinforce geographical concepts and map skills. The Activity Book encourages pupils to practise and develop their knowledge and understanding of the topics and themes covered in the atlas, and to work independently. Assessment for Learning support throughout the Activity Book enables teachers and pupils to monitor their progress. The Oxford Primary Atlas is a clear, bright and informative atlas for all 7-11 year olds. It introduces primary school pupils to key geographical themes and topics, matched to curriculum requirements, including landscapes, water, settlements, connections, and environments. The Oxford Primary Atlas is also accompanied by the Activity Book for independent work, and the e-Atlas CD-ROM for whole class display on interactive whiteboard.
