In Danger Below Ant, Tiger and Seven are forced to hide underground to escape the Krools. But will they be any safer below the surface? In The Cave of Life our heroes meet the living soul of Planet Kree-Mar - Kree-Ator - who tells them where to find the next Fragment of Exis, but they soon find that getting it won't be that easy. Kree-Ator needs the micro-friends' help to save Planet Kree-Marr, but will they be able to defeat the Krools and the Mega-Meeb? Find out in Save the World! Each book comes with notes on the inside front and back covers for teachers, TAs and parents/carers, which give question prompts and points for discussion, challenge words, and additional activities that children can do.

Reviews

The books and materials appeal to both boys and girls but they include content that particularly motivates boys to read which definitely supports the teacher in class. Alien Adventures engages children and we have seen them make sustained progress in their reading development. * Stephanie James, Year 1 Teacher - Churwell Primary School, Leeds * With the detailed inside cover notes - with steps for reading before, during and after the story - they help the Teaching Assistant with minimal support from the teacher. Also helps the parents with reading at home with their child. * Miss Stephanie Cairns, Assistant Headteacher - Harrowgate Hill Primary School, Darlington * Project X Alien Adventures provides an excellent addition to our reading provision. It is an outstanding resource because the children love the characters and they become completely absorbed in the story. The gadgets, creatures and strange worlds capture their imagination and interest. When children are so engaged, it makes their capacity to learn so much greater. * Martin Fenton, Headteacher - Greenhill Primary School, Wakefield *
