She has worked as a project coordinator in youth programs and draws on her experience of working with children for her writing. Danielle McDonald is a graphic designer specialising in illustration and designing children's products. She has worked in the fashion, home decor and plush toy industries and since 2007 has had a number of children's books published in Australia. Danielle has a passion for illustration that is driven by a strong sense of colour and a love of creating unique characters.
