It's never too early to give a book to your baby. During their first few months, babies respond to bright, high-contrast images as part of the development of their sight. Seeing a baby's face in the mirror on the front cover - although they won't yet recognise it as their own - will grab their attention! The soft cloth pages are nice and gentle for their delicate skin, whilst the page of crinkly material and silky ribbons will encourage them to reach out and grab, helping to strengthen tiny fingers and hands. About the Author

Jo Moon is based in Liverpool and has been working as a freelance illustrator since graduating from university with a BA Hons in Graphic Arts. She has worked with a number of publishers including Pinwheel, Cowley Robinson and Caterpillar Books. Jo has illustrated a number of gorgeous books for Campbell including Baby's Very First Bath Books (Animals and Toys) and a set of Black and White Buggy Buddies as well as our highly successful Fluttery Bath Books series.
