About the Author

Ekaterina Trukhan was born and grew up in Russia, and has loved to draw for as long as she can remember. She moved to London to study a degree in Illustration at Camberwell College of Arts. While studying, Ekaterina came second in the Macmillan Prize in both 2009 and 2010. PATRICK WANTS A DOG! is her second picture book title, following on from the charming ME AND MY CAT (978-0-230-75463-8). Ekaterina lives with her husband in South East London.
