Synopsis

Tallulah and the Tea Leaves by Louise John

Skylarks is a new series of fiction books divided by chapters and covering a wide range of genres from adventure, humour and fairy tale to fantasy, mystery and science fiction. Each story contains approximately 2,000 words, broken into 7 or 8 chapters and illustrated in full colour in a range of artwork styles, with one or two images per spread. This series will take young independent readers into real books and give them the confidence to tackle texts with a longer extent. Its the school holidays and Tallulah is bored! That is, until her Great Granny comes to stay. Tallulah doesn't like Great Granny very much. Not very much at all, really. But, when Great granny reads the tealeaves, things start to change and Tallulah finds herself in one adventure after another. Suddenly she isn't quite so bored anymore...
