Synopsis

Chamelia by Ethan Long

Most chameleons like to blend in. But not Chamelia. When others zig...Chamelia zags. Like most chameleons, Chamelia is constantly changing her look. But instead of blending in, Chamelia prefers to stand out. She's committed to her bold, fashion forward outfits - accented by fabric collage elements - despite the disparaging looks they inspire from her classmates. But when outrageous ensembles keep Chamelia from participating in her favourite activities, what's a chameleon to do? Find a new way to shine, of course! Chamelia ultimately learns that it's not her clothes that make her a star; it's her sparkling personality. With vibrant colours and plenty of patterns, Chamelia is an endearing new picture book character sure to appeal to fashion-forward fans of Ladybug Girl, Birdie's Big-Girl Shoes, and all things leopard-print.
