Synopsis

When Dinosaurs Die A Guide to Understanding Death by Laurene Krasny Brown

An excellent resource for children when they try to grasp the concept of death and understand grieving, recommended for children who have faced or are facing loss, but also for any child even before an urgent need presents itself. Presented in a respectful and unthreatening manner, this book will prove immensely valuable for children and their familes.

Reviews

Using the frank yet reassuring tack employed in the previous books, the author presents a balanced, comprehensive and age-appropriate explanation of why death occurs...and suggests sensible tactics for coping with the resulting loneliness, fright and anger. These astute collaborators provide a commendable service for grieving children and the adults in their lives. --Publishers Weekly
