About the Author

Jo Foster has been fascinated by history since she first discovered that life hadn't always been like it was in 1980s Essex. Since studying history at university, she has made a living working in TV, researching programmes including The Worst Jobs in History, Time Team, and Who Do You Think You Are? Jo lives in an old house in east London with her three gorgeous housemates and still wants to be a history spy when she grows up.
