Synopsis

Secondary Screening Profiles Mathematics Form B by niversity of Edinburgh Centre for Research on Learning and Instruction

These screening profiles are comprised of three tests which give a clear analysis and profile of students' skills in reading, mathematics and reasoning at ages 11 and 13. Each test is simple and quick to administer and mark, and can be used singly or as part of the complete battery. The profile generated by the tests complements and gives an external reference to National Curriculum assessments obtained at the end of Key Stage 2. Each of the tests is available in parallel forms A and B, for administration in about 35 minutes. All of the questions are multiple-choice, allowing quick, accurate and unambiguous marking. This set is composed of 20 copies. The Mathematics test is designed to be independent of maths teaching schemes, and is comprised of 40 questions assessing number and algebra, shape, space and measures, and data handling skills.

It gives me a chance to read types of books that I would not normally try, and it motivates me to read every night to finish it!

It is THE website to use for narrowing down your search for any book. Definitely knocks the socks off any other book review website.

You give me age appropriate ideas of books I can read and buy for the children and find out what other children their age think of them too.

Katie Lonsdale

A great way to introduce kids to great books, authors & genres. Parents can find age-appropriate books to share with their children.

It’s really exciting to read and review new books, thrilling to see my reviews online and I love finding the final published copies on sale.
