Synopsis

Aventura 4: Pupil's Book Pupil's Book by Rosa Maria Martin, Rosa Martin, Martyn Ellis

This is one text in a four-part Spanish course, suitable for a wide ability range. It is geared to meet the needs of pupils preparing for GCSE under the newly revised National Curriculum and supports those working towards Standard Grade in Scotland. It concentrates on the personal and interpersonal aspects of language learning. Comprising of six units of six lessons, the pupil's book provides a flexible framework of graded progression within which learners should achieve a solid foundation of language skills. Consolidation and revision are an integral part of the course, and review sections at the end of each unit provide opportunity for pupils to reinforce newly acquired language. Regular self-assessment profiles allow learners to monitor their own progress, providing pupils with constructive feedback. The layout is designed for easy pupil access, and systematic use of symbols, colour-coding and help boxes provide clarification and promote autonomous learning.
