Superphonics Spelling by Ruth Miskin

Superphonics Spelling by Ruth Miskin

This book introduces the simplest spelling for each sound (e.g. ee as in keep), then looks at alternative spellings for the sounds (e.g. ea as in bead), followed by root words and word endings, and more difficult spellings. There is a Useful Words unit at the back of the book which focuses on groups of words which are frequently needed but difficult to spell. Lively illustrated in full colour.

Children using Superphonics will move ahead faster than others in their class. The Daily Telegraph (July 2000) Ruth Miskin's results - objectively tested against the rest of the country - seem to speak for themselves. Sunday Express (November 2000) [Superphonics] is the best. TES (September 2000) A basic and structured spelling scheme for children aged five to seven and their parents. It will be welcomed particularly by less confident parents. Back to School Bookseller
