Pete's Peculiar Pet Shop: The Wrong Jumper (Purple A) by Sheila May BirdThis title is part of Bug Club, the first whole-school reading programme that joins books with an online reading world to teach today's children to read. In this Purple-A level Pete's Pet Shop book: Mrs Muddyboot needs a new jumper. Unfortunately she has lost her glasses so, instead of going into the clothes shop, she ends up in Pete's Peculiar Pet Shop. She is offered various jumping animals and when she finally finds her glasses she realises her mistake. After buying her jumper she returns to buy the jumping animals.
