NSSC English Second Edition is a course consisting of two Learner's Book Modules, an Answer Book and a Teacher's Guide. The course has been written and designed to prepare students for the Namibia Senior Secondary Certificate (NSSC). Features of the books include: * modules divided into units, each focusing on a different theme * relevant and informative themes, which appeal to Namibian learners * stimulating and thought-provoking activities, designed to encourage critical thinking * challenging reading passages that expose learners to the works of different African authors * glossaries at the end of each unit, to help learners develop their vocabulary * detailed answers in the Answer Book, promoting a thorough understanding of language, which help learners recognise errors and correct them * an outcomes-based approach, encouraging student-centred learning * an emphasis on developing English reading, writing, listening and speaking skills so that learners can communicate effectively in English.
