Cambridge Reading is a major scheme providing stimulating books and support materials for the teaching of reading and the development of literacy throughout the elementary years. One Day It Was Wet is in a series of three titles in the Sight Vocabulary: Fiction strand of the Beginning to Read phase. This strand provides a comprehensive resource for teaching the 45 high-frequency words - each word appears at least three times in one of the books. Each of the BTR sight vocabulary fiction titles are available in packs of 6. This series of three also includes Can I Have Some? and Am I A Cat? The stories centre around brother and sister, Max and Milly, their Mum and Dad, and assorted pets. In One Day It Was Wet, the whole family go on a camping holiday, where Max and Milly discover new ways to play in rain, wind, and even fog!
