A lovely way to celebrate happy times, as well as acknowledging the times when we feel scratchy, grumpy, and yucky , too. -- Catherine O'Dolan Junior An introduction for the youngest readers to the different feelings they experience, from sad to funny, angry to sunny, and even lost and small. About the Author

Gillian Shields

Gillian Shields was born and brought up in Yorkshire. As she grew up, she had two passions; books and theatre. Gillian’s love of books led her to read English at St Catharine's College, Cambridge. After university she studied acting in London, and then worked in a drama school for several years, becoming Vice-Principal.

Having children gave Gillian an excuse to carry on reading children’s books, as well as motivation to write them. She has a young son and a grown-up daughter, and is married to Brian, who works for the International Herald Tribune.
