Synopsis

Hendrix the Rocking Horse by Gavin Puckett

This book features an ordinary horse with a very ordinary and really quite boring little life...until a rock band called The Tumbling Pebbles come to town. As the music pounds across the hills, Hendrix discovers he has an ear for music! And then he comes across the band's guitar - it flies out the window of the van as the musicians leave the sleepy village - and Hendrix knows there is no looking back. He decides to put on a concert of his own. He ties a pair of pants round his head. Socks round his wrists. He is Hendrix the Rocking Horse!

About the Author

Gavin Puckett

Gavin Puckett lives in South Wales with his wife, his young son and their cat, George. He spends his days working as a school liaison officer with the police and won the Greenhouse Funny Prize in 2013 with his debut book, Murray the Horse.

He has since gone on to write more horsey adventures as part of a humorous rhyming series called ‘Fables from the Stables.’ When he’s not writing, he spends most of his time thinking of things to write, taking penalty shots against his football-mad son and spelling his last name to people. His favourite word is bibliobibuli and he was once bitten by a squirrel when he was twelve.
