Practical Skills in Caribbean Geography (Book 2) is the second of two new books for Caribbean geography students. It extends the basic skills of book 1, and covers the CXC syllabus for Forms 4 and 5. * Book 2 includes extensive coverage of using and interpreting maps and weather charts. A major feature of Book 2 is its use of examples to show students how to tackle a particular skill. * The book includes a colour map section, with map keys, as well as many black and white photographs and drawings.

About the Author

Mike Morrissey is a Professor at the University of West Indies. He has a wealth of experience including, teaching high school geography, training teachers, representing Jamaica on the panel that developed the first CXC geography syllabus, and authoring many geography textbooks for students across the region.
