About the Author

Carol Clarke is Head of the Department of Languages at the Mico College, Jamaica. She is a poet and teaches Poetry at the University of the West Indies, Mona, Jamaica. Carol has teaching experience at primary, secondary and tertiary levels and is an examiner for CXC English B. Schontal Moore teaches writing and composition in the Department of Language, Linguistics and philosophy at the University of the West Indies, Mona. She has also taught at high schools in Belize and Jamaica. She is an examiner for CXC English A, and has also examined English B and CAPE Communication Studies.
