Your Body: an A-Z from Allergies to Zits by Steve Parker

This dictionary of the human body is arranged in easy-access alphabetical format, suitable for 9-13 year olds. Clear and lively black and white illustrations are used throughout. Topics covered include major body structures and processes (lungs and breathing, heart and circulation, etc) and individual organs. Also covered are concerns that often preoccupy this age group - a wide range of common ailments and conditions and entries on healthy living and lifestyle. The book is designed to encourage readers to browse rather than simply use the book as a one-stop reference, with attention-grabbing items such as amazing facts, common phrases and sayings.
