Synopsis

Knight by Helen Greathead

Tough Jobs! is a new narrative non-fiction series covering popular historical topics through a variety of colourful jobs in a down-to-earth, readable style, with plenty of toilet humour! Each chapter features a double page fact spread and there is a glossary at the end. In Knight you are a page, a trainee knight. Experience what it's like to live in a castle and sometimes even clank about in armour. You are trained not just to fight, but to hunt, read poetry and serve at table, too! You'll find it's a tough job being a knight.

Reviews
